Definitely one too many Christmas crackers at HMRC this year, with maybe a generous glass of mulled wine!
After a morning of present opening, turkey preparation, walking and card game playing our teenager had returned to the computer by midday.
I've already submitted my tax return so we set off to wish friends good cheer in the pub, but it seems a few others were drawn to the online Self Assessment site.
I do have some concerns for the returns submitted later in the afternoon and I wonder if HMRC will see these documents as higher risk! :)
